 Hello everybody, no story at the moment, but a wish from my drawing friend Gumpie.

Ontmoeting met Archaeopteryx en de Dionosaurus - Meet the Archaeopteryx and the Dinosaurus

 

English version under the illustrations

Dit zijn de laatste illustraties van het verhaal van Mus&Muis in de Kubusvallei.

De gevonden kubus wordt bij de andere 2 gezet. De letters op de kubussen moeten In de juiste volgorde tegen elkaar worden gezet’. Dat leek simpel, maar er waren zoveel combinatie mogelijkheden. Uiteindelijk kwam mus met de oplossing. Die bedacht, dat de letter D voor DINO zou kunnen.

‘En de V van Viclar’, reageerde muis gelijk.

Muis dacht aan de B van Boom. Vervolgens werden deze kubussen tegen elkaar gezet. Als de combinatie goed is hoor je een ‘klik’. Dan kan met oom’s code de kubus met de V worden geopend’. Helaas niet de goede combinatie. Uiteindelijk had mus een goede ingeving, ‘VDP’. Dat betekende ‘Viclar Dino Project’. De klik werd duidelijk gehoord, de kubus ging open. Daarin zat een perkamenten rol met de letter combinatie.

Via de boomlift gaat het duo naar de atelier om de ronde deur met letterslot te openen.

Dat lukte, met een nieuwsgierige blik stapte muis als voorzichtig naar binnen. Per ongelikt stapt muis op een knopje, waarna hij een enorm gebulder hoort. Later zien ze wat het was en hebben grote pret. Scuffie teleurgesteld, alleen een schilderij met een houten locomotief.

De dinosaurus.

Ze zien een touw op de grond en volgen deze. Dan zien ze een grote kop van een Dino. Ze zien dat die niet echt is en muis klimt als eerste naar boven. Wanneer hij langs het oog loopt, twijfelt muis.... nee, hij beweegt niet. Uiteindelijk via de tong naar een bek met grote tanden. Mus vliegt er ook naar toe.

Wanneer alles bekeken is, gaat het drietal terug naar oom's boom. Tijd voor afscheid. Als dank voor het terugbrengen van de kubus krijgt muis een cadeautje.... 'Moisy'.

Eenmaal thuis geeft mus hem een speciaal plekje. Voor de kou krijgt hij nog een sjaaltje om. Tijd voor een heerlijk bad.

Tekst onder de laatste illustratie;

Muis pakt een klaproos en boog die naar mus. ‘Nu streel ik zachtjes over de steel en jij moet goed luisteren’. ‘Het is een KLAP Roos’.

The mouse accidentally steps on a button, after which he hears a huge roar. Later they see what it was... a little button. Scuffie disappointed, only a painting with a wooden locomotive.

The dinosaur.

They see a rope on the ground and follow it. Then they see a large Dino head. They see that it is not real and the mouse climbs up first. When he walks past the eye, mouse hesitates.... no, he doesn't move. Ultimately via the tongue to a mouth with large teeth. Sparrow also flies there.

When everything has been looked at, the three return to Uncle's tree. Time for goodbye. As a thank you for returning the cube, mouse receives a present... 'Moisy'.

Once home, Sparrow gives him a special place. He wears a scarf to prevent the cold. Time for a lovely bath.

Cijfercode opent de deur - Number code opens the door

Vorige blog ontdekte Scuffie de cijfercombinatie van de kubussen

Scuffie is helemaal opgewonden nu hij de code van de deur heeft. ‘Ik ga als eerste naar beneden via de boom. Jij mus, vliegt met me mee en muis neemt de springtrap’. Muis kijkt verschrikt naar Scuffie en vervolgens naar die trap. ‘Oh nee, ik ben geen kikker! Gaan jullie maar, want deze trap is voor mij ‘levensgevaarlijk’.

Oom heeft voor voor kleine spullen een lift gemaakt naar de deur van de boom. In die Dino-gereedschapskist kan jij naar beneden’.

Langzaam zakt het Dino-kistje met muis naar beneden, langs de boom met vele knoesten. Nieuwsgierig hoe ver het nog is, kijkt hij voorzichtig over de rand. Dan ziet muis een flinke knoest in de boom. Angstig om die niet te raken, buigt hij over de rand van het kistje. Die begint flink te schommelen.

‘Niet te veel bewegen’. Wanneer muis in de kistje zit, duwt Scuffie de hendel omlaag. Terwijl muis langzaam naar beneden zakt, springt Scuffie langs de boom naar beneden.

Uiteindelijk beland muis zonder problemen de grond. Scuffie gaat naar de boom om de code in te stellen. Hopelijk gaat dan de deur open.

Over 2 weken weten we meer.

Don't move too much. When mouse is in the box, Scuffie pushes the lever down. As Mouse slowly sinks down, Scuffie jumps down the tree.

In the end, the mouse lands on the ground without any problems. Scuffie goes to the tree to set the code. Hopefully the door will open then.

De ontknoping van de Kubus - The denouement of the Cube

 

Afgelopen dag ontzettend veel getekend over Mus&Muis. Eindelijk de ontknoping voor muis, wat zit er in de kubus die hij gevonden had. De kubus wordt in het boomhuis van oom Viclar gebracht. Scuffie heeft de 2 andere kubussen er bijgehaald. Nu moet er nog een combinatie gevonden worden om de kubus met de V te kunnen openen.

Het was een heel gedoe om de juiste formatie te kunnen vinden.
Uiteindelijk kwam mus met de oplossing. De letter V was voor Viclar, de P voor Project en de letter D voor Dino.
Nu in de combinatie van VDP en.... met een klip ging de kubus met de V open.
Muis brandde van nieuwsgierigheid, en zat een koker in met een stuk papier. Wat een teleurstelling, al die moeite voor een stukje papier. Als hij dat geweten had!

Scuffie heel blij, op dar vel stond de letter combinatie van de deur van het atelier beneden. Daar is het grote Dino project. Wat daar allemaal te zien is over een paar weken. Want eerst ga ik in 2 blog iets vertellen van mijn verslaving met FlipaClip.
Tot over een week. Momenteel een lange vakantie, medio augustus het eind van het verhaal.

Asturias arriveert bij de boom- Asturias arrived at the tree

Vervolg verhaal van Scuffie in de Kubus Vallei

Het luchtschip verlaat de plek met de voetafdruk, en is op weg naar de boom van Viclar. Het tweetal zit achterin het luchtschip bij het ronde raam.Vanaf hier hebben ze een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei. Scuffie heeft even tijd om er bij te komen. ‘Waar gaan we precies naar toe’, vraagt muis.

‘Naar oom’s lievelingsplek, waar de Parasaurolophussen hebben geleefd. Tijdens zijn onderzoek ontdekte hij een bijzondere boom. Straks laat ik er een tekening van zien. Het is nog een eindje vliegen, geniet van de vlucht. Even nadat Scuffie weg was, steeg het luchtschip omhoog. Dat merkte muis ook. Zelfs mus was nog nooit zo hoog geweest. Muis verliet het raam, hij werd een beetje misselijk van de hoogte. Scuffie kwam terug met een tekening van de boom.

Als het schip vast zit, mogen mus en muis naar buiten. Heel voorzichtig loopt muis in met midden van de aanlegsteiger. Scuffie stelt hem gerust dat het hier allemaal heel stevig en veilig is. Uiteindelijk durft hij omlaag te kijken. Wat een hoogte! Dan ziet hij een vierkant gat met een leuning. Heel voorzichtig gaat hij er naar toe.

Ook mus komt er bij. 

Springtrap

‘Voorzichtig bij de springtrap’, roept Scuffie. Muis bekijkt op veilige afstand aandachtig de trap. ‘Is deze stuk, want niet alle treeplanken zitten er in’. Scuffie begrijpt zijn vraag. ‘Nee, deze heeft Viclar gemaakt om naar zijn werkplek te komen. Nog steeds begrijpt muis die constructie niet. ‘Ik zal het je uitleggen.

‘Een muis loopt en een kikker springt’.

De Dino afdruk in de kubus vallei - The Dino footprint in the cubic valley

 

Wat verrukkelijk om weer verder te gaan met Mus&Muis. Vooral het onderwerp Steampunky spreekt mij aan. Ik zie dat zowel mus als muis aangekleed worden in een Steampunk outfit, prachtig! 

In het vorige blog heb je iets vermeld over Neptunes, gelukkig heb je er een illustratie bij gemaakt. Wat een mooi verhaal van de keizer en de nachtegaal, geschreven door Hans Christian Andersen.

Vertel in het kort iets bij elke pagina's.

De vogels worden opgewonden door een sleuteltje. Oom Viclar heeft een speciale verzameling. Muis kijkt waar het sleuteltje hangt voor de Steampunk muis. Oom heeft die muis de naam Moisy gegeven. Op aanwijzingen van mus ziet hij de naam van het figuurtje. Als muis er naar toe kruipt, ziet hij aan de achterkant de sleutel voor deze mechanische muis. Rechter pagina... mus ziet de Steampunk vogels. Muis geen belangstelling, hij gaat naar 'zijn' muis om te spelen.

In de verzameling van vogels, zit een Japanse nachtegaal. Muis gelooft niet dat die kan fluiten. Scuffie wint de vogel op en... begint te fluiten. Naast het verhaal de bijgaande illustratie van de keizer.

Scuffie vertelt dat hij van mus en muis wil aankleden als een echte Steampunker. Mus zoekt in het boek wat hij wil hebben. Een bril die kan inzoomen. Als hij die om heeft, kan hij het niet het knopje aanzetten. Die zit achter zijn kop. Muis helpt en drukt té hard op het knopje. Resultaat, de bril zoomt snel in op de deurknop met een Octopusarm. Mus schrikt ontzettend. Op de rechterpagina krijgt muis een speciale hoed. Een kaashoed. Oom Viclar was dol op kaas. Muis zou die hoed heel graag behouden, helaas.

Zo dat was het weer en over 2 weken gaan we verder met het verhaal.

Gumpie; 'vertel iets!' Ze vliegen naar de boom van oom Viclar en stoppen even bij een voetafdruk van een .......

In the collection of birds, there is a Japanese nightingale. Mouse doesn't believe he can whistle. Scuffie wins the bird and... starts to whistle. In addition to the story, the accompanying illustration of the emperor.

3rdt illustration

Scuffie tells that he wants to dress up from sparrow and mouse like a real Steampunk. Sparrow searches the book for what he wants. Glasses that can zoom in. If he has it on, he can't turn it on. It's behind his head. Mouse helps and presses the button too hard. Result, the glasses quickly zoom in on the doorknob with an Octopus arm. Sparrow is very frightened. On the right page, mouse gets a special hat. A cheese hat. Uncle Viclar loved cheese. Mouse would love to keep that hat, unfortunately.

Mus&Muis en de geheime kubus tekens - Sparrow&Mouse and the secret Cubic characters

Gumpie, goed nieuws..... we gaan met regelmaat weer verder met het verhaal van Mus&Muis. Steampunky is afgerond en ook het 1e deel van de pelikaan en de slak (Mr.P&Sneezy) is gereed. Even een korte terugblik waar we waren bij mijn reisvrienden; Mus&Muis in de Kubus Vallei. Hieronder screendumps met een kleine uitleg.

In de vallei staan verschillende kubussen met betekenissen. De meeste zijn ontcijfert, alleen één was niet te verklaren. Als muis het symbooltje ziet, weet hij het gelijk. Hij pakt een stukje papier en begint te tekenen. 'Het is een hoorn met ijs'. Iedereen lacht. Waarom zou je zo'n teken plaatsen als er alleen in de omgeving ijsbergen zijn? Muis weet het zeker....'om de hoek is een IJSTENT.

Rechterpagina. Scuffie, de red eye frog, vertelt iets over de kaart. De rode stippelijklijn is de route naar Oom's boom. Mus kijkt en vraagt wat is nr. 6. Dat is het Triton eiland, waar Neptunes woont. We weten als hij op een conch blaast het hier kan stormen. Nooit van gehoord en geloven dit verhaal beslist niet.

Scuffie vertelt dat oom Viclar een liefhebber was van Steampunk. Hij had zelfs een steampunk muis ontworpen. Dat wilde muis wel eens zien. In een van de boeken zit een vel papier met de werktekening. Muis zoekt, maar dat is lastig..

Below are screen dumps with a small explanation.

De Consalita Cactus Nr. 2

'Gumpie, voor we verder gaan met blog Nr. 2 van de Magische Tuin. Wat is er met jou gebeurd. Je lijkt wel een stukje kleiner geworden'. 'Dat heb je goed gezien. 

Jij gaat naar de kapper, als er nog iets te knippen valt, en ik ga naar de puntenslijper. Dan ben ik weer helemaal scherp voor 2023'. 'Hopelijk de laatste keer, anders noem ik je Stompie, in plaats van Gumpie'. 

Dank voor het zoeken voor het volgende onderwerp.... De cactus paddestoel. Beter onder de naam Consalita Cactus. 

Nieuwsgierig geworden naar het resultaat... klik dan weer bovenaan het kopje MAGISCHE TUIN. Een zeer  komische Paddestoel. 

Wat heb jij gevonden voor nr. 3?

'De pufzwam', daar heb je in het verhaal van Mus&Muis ook al iets over geschreven en getekend. Het is een zeer inspirerende paddestoel. Mushy is er zelf ook 'verslavend' aan geworden.

Maxxi the Mouse

We zijn weer terug na een maand vakantie met nieuwe ideeën. 
We are back after a month holiday with new ideas.

Zo begon het, de knuffel van muis kwam werd op mijn tafel gezet. Muis had geprobeerd met in staart te schilderen, maar dat werd helemaal niets. Nu wil hij een animatie van deze knuffelmuis.
Samen zijn we een maand aan het stoeien geweest, daar ik nog nooit een animatie had gewerkt.
Zie hier het eerste resultaat. Dit wordt niet verder uitgebreid, puur wat de mogelijkheden waren. In augustus wordt een nieuw figuur uitgewerkt

Muis krijgt zijn expositie buiten - Mouse get his exposition in the garden

Het zat me toch niet helemaal lekker... muis geen expositie in zijn atelier. Hij wil natuurlijk zijn kunstwerken laten zien. Dat begrijp ik én ook ik ben nieuwsgierig wat hij met zijn 'Tail' wil maken. Toen hoorde dat hij in zijn atelier bezig was riep ik hem. 'Ik heb nog eens goed over nagedacht en heb een oplossing voor je. Stel, je zou hier jouw expositie houden, dan kan jouw vriend mus dit niet zien. Die durft beslist niet in ons huis komen, zeker niet met onze poes.
Daarom stel ik voor om de expositie in onze tuin te houden. We hangen al je werken op een tak in onze tuin. Kunnen alle dieren jouw werk bewonderen'. Dat vond muis een briljant idee.
Gisteren was onze kleindochter op bezoek en wilde muis graag zien. Helaas was hij niet aanwezig.
Wordt nog 1x vervolgd.

Muis zijn atelier is gereed - mouse his atelier is ready

Eindelijk is er einde gekomen na bijna 4 weken klussen in het huis. Tijd voor elkaar. Mus vertelde dat ook zijn atelier klaar was. 'Kon je dat maar zien!' Ik keek door het deurtje, maar daarvoor moest je een trap op. Jammer, ik had graag een kijkje willen nemen.

Hij had de tekening die ik voor hem gemaakt had meegenomen. Hij wide ook zo graag schilderen. 'Deze tekening is mijn huidige inspiratiebron, niet met een penseel of potlood..... maar met mijn eigen 'staart'. Ik schilder met mijn staart!' Staart-Kunst klinkt niet goed, vandaar TailArt'. Over een paar weken wil ik een expositie geven in mijn atelier. Dan zie je wat ik voor tekeningen maak'.

'Wat zeg je... expositie in jouw atelier! Oh nee, geen muizenfamilie in ons huis. Vergeet het maar! Je doet dat maar ergens anders!'

Teleurgesteld ging muis naar zijn atelier.

Finally has come to an end after almost 4 weeks of odd jobs in the house. Time for each other. Mouse said that his studio was also finished. "If only you could see that!" I looked through the door, but you had to go up a flight of stairs. Too bad, I would have liked to take a look.

He had brought the drawing I made for him. He also likes to paint wide.  'This drawing is my current source of inspiration, not with a brush or pencil ..... but with my own' tail '.  I paint with my tail! " Tail-Art does not sound good, hence TailArt '. In a few weeks I want to give an exhibition in my studio. Then you see what I make for drawings'.

'What do you say ... exhibition in your studio!  Oh no, not a mouse family in our house.  Forget it!  You do that somewhere else! "

Disappointed, Mouse went to his studio.

Muis heeft een eigen logo - Mouse has his own logo

Muis heeft mij gevraagd om een logo te maken voor zijn 'Atelier'.

Hij heeft zelf de naam bedacht 'TailArt'. Nadat hij het bord naast zijn deur had bevestigd, vroeg ik wat de betekenis hiervan is.

'Jaren geleden ben ik bij je gekomen, toen je aan het tekenen was. Ik wilde ook zo graag schilderen, maar ik kan geen penseel of potlood vasthouden. Toen gaf jij me een goed advies om toch te kunnen schilderen. Je hebt er zelf een tekening over gemaakt'. Ik kon me dat niet meer herinneren.

'Die tekening heb ik goed bewaard en ben aan het oefenen gegaan. Deze week wil ik mijn atelier in orde maken. Daarna spreken we elkaar nog één keer en wil ik voorlopig niet meer gestoord worden'.

'Goed plan!'

Mouse asked me to make a logo for his 'Atelier'.

He came up with the name 'TailArt'.  After attaching the sign next to his door, I asked what its meaning is.

"I came to you, years ago when you were drawing. I also really wanted to paint, but I can't hold a brush or pencil. Then you gave me good advice to paint anyway. You even made a drawing about it'. I couldn't remember that.

'I kept that drawing well and started practicing. This week I want to prepare my studio.  Then we will speak again and I don't want to be disturbed for the time being '.

Muis kiest streepjes stenen - mouse chooses dashes of stones

'Muis, muis, kom je mee naar mijn streepjes stenen!' Even was het stil. 'Alleen als jullie poes er niet meer is'. Onze poes Freya is altijd nieuwsgierig als er iets veranderd of nieuw is. 'Oh, dat is éénmalig, ze is er niet. Alles is veilig'. Heel voorzichtig kwam muis tevoorschijn. Samen zijn we naar de schuur gegaan voor de kist met steentjes. In de loop der tijd zijn die verzameld tijdens strandwandelingen. Alleen steentjes met een witte strepen.
Het is een afwijking geworden.. een wedstrijd wie het eerst er eentje vind. Zelf onze kleinzoon doet mee. Na het openen van de kist, zag ik zijn verbazing. 'Mag ik er een paar uitzoeken?' Hij wist precies wat hij hebben wou. 'Duurt het nog lang, want ik wil verder met mijn schilderwerkzaamheden. Moet ik soms een steentje bijdragen?'

Muis keek me alleen vragend aan en ging driftig door met zoeken. Na zeker 5 minuten zoeken, had hij 10 bijzondere platte steentjes uitgezocht. 'Wat ga je daar mee doen?'
'Als jij me eerst vertelt waarom je die hebt verzameld!' 'Nu geen tijd muis, maar over een paar dagen heb ik meer tijd voor je'. Alles steentjes voor zijn deurtje gelegd en muis sleepte ze naar binnen.

Mouse looked at me questioningly and continued to search. After at least 5 minutes of searching, he had selected 10 special flat stones. "What are you going to do with that?" "If you first tell me why you collected it!" "No time now mouse, but in a few days I will have more time for you." Everything was placed in front of his door and the mouse dragged them inside.

Muis heeft wensen - Mouse has wishes

Tijdens het schilderwerk aan onze trap, hoorde ik getimmer onder de laatste traptree.

Even geluisterd en jawel, muis was druk bezig. Gevraagd of hij nog iets nodig had. Dit wilde hij hebben; 2 kleine plankjes van 12 cm lang, 4 tubes plakkaatverf, mengbakjes, kleine spijkertjes en 2 stukken stevig wit karton.

Na deze opsomming moest ik even nadenken... verf, mengbakjes. Hij kan niet eens een potlood of penseel vasthouden. 'Muis, weet je het zeker, plakkaatverf?'

'Niets vragen, leg alles maar voor mijn deur, dan draag ik het wel naar binnen. Oh, ja, mag ik jou die kist met streepjes-stenen in de schuur eens bekijken?' 'Natuurlijk mag dat, maar waarvoor deze belangstelling?'

'Als jij me dat morgen wil laten zien, zal ik er meer over vertellen'.

'Ok, moet ik je nog helpen?' 

Muis lachte, 'tot morgen!'

During painting on our stairs, I heard a sound under the last staircase.

Just listened and yes, mouse was busy.  Asked if he needed anything else. He wanted this;  2 small boards of 12 cm long, 4 tubes of gouache, mixing bowls, small nails and 2 pieces of sturdy white cardboard.

After this list I had to think ... paint, mixing bowls. He cannot even hold a pencil or brush.  "Mouse, are you sure, poster paint?"

"Don't ask anything, just put everything at my door and I'll carry it inside. "Oh, yes, can I have a look at that strip-stone box in the shed?" "Of course you can, but for what interest?"

"If you want to show me that tomorrow, I'll tell you more about it."

"Okay, do I still need to help you?"

 Mouse laughed, "see you tomorrow!"
